Name: Oh In Hye 오인혜 / 吴仁惠
Date of Birth: Apr 26, 1987
Height: 165 cm
Weight: 48 kg
About: On Oct 6 2011, little known newcomer Korean actress Oh In Hye 오인혜 / 吴仁惠 became an overnight sensation right after she walked down the red carpet at the 16th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) in a daring orange Grecian goddess-inspired dress with a plunging neckline that drew everyone's attention with her glamorous appeal.
Her overly sexy dress that exposed her bust line almost completely, blew her name up in the media instantly. Netizens had mixed comments about her outfit, saying that, "OMG not classy..", "Very daring. Fashion takes courage sometimes", and "Where is the rest of her dress???".
To clear up any misunderstandings, Oh In Hye sat down with reporters on the next day and discussed her feelings on her controversial red-carpet dress. When told that her dress became a hot issue in the media, she replied, "I still don't feel it. It was my first time on the red carpet so I was just so surprised to see the reactions. All my friends began calling me, telling me not to feel down with the hate. Although there were positive replies, there were also some bad ones. I merely went to the event hoping to get caught on camera, but I think the situation blew up into something out of my control. There were some who criticized me for going overboard, but what I want to make clear is that I didn't seek the attention purposely."
When asked on why she chose the dress, she replied, "Doesn't everyone dream of attending a film festival? It was my first time, so I didn't know what dress to wear. An unni (older sister) I knew from my movie recommended a wedding shop in Seoul. I didn't have much to choose from to begin with, so I just ended up renting that dress. It also didn't fit me and it had to be personally tailored on the shoulder and length. I don't have a stylist and the dress was worn by Baek Ji Young (a popular Korean singer) 6 years ago."
She continued, "I don't have experience with these events, so I didn't know what amount of exposure was appropriate or not. I just wore whatever they gave me. The dress was so old that a lot of it needed tailoring."
Concluding the interview, she stated, "I'm really self conscious and get hurt easily. When I saw that I was the most searched figure online, I was worried about tomorrow. My parents knew that I had been going through a hard time and just told me to not focus on the hateful replies and just overcome it as a life experience."
I'm still partly amazed how she is able to walk elegantly yet carefully not to expose herself accidentally. Whatever happened, the facts are - she is drop-dead-gorgeous and "those" are definitely natural, and now everyone definitely wants a piece of Oh In Hye after making headlines all over the world!
After breaking through this year's Busan International Film Festival, Oh In Hye was once again exposed when she was invited to a launch event on December 9, 2011 for an Austrian luxury brand eyewear at a hotel in Itaewon, Seoul.
Oh In Hye definitely loves the attention garnered by wearing another revealing outfit. At the event, Oh In Hye wore long wide pants with a matching white top - it supposed to be a "club look". The wide pant is made of a thin, see-through fabric and open around the pelvis area.
She confidently posed in her buckle tied top in front of the camera. The top is a low cut V line with the sides widely open so that the right side of the chest and waist are easily seen.
Everything seems to go as planned for Oh In Hye when she landed her big screen role in the film "Red Vacance Black Wedding" (붉은 바캉스 검은 웨딩) directed by Park Chul-soo (박철수 / 朴哲洙) and Kim Tae-sik (김태식 / 金泰植). Not suprisingly - sex, infedility and black humor are high on the menu in this two-part anthology film.
Warning, this movie contains nudity and sexual situations that are not suitable for viewers under 18. Oh In Hye starred as a beautiful young student with a cynical-romantic look relationship with a middle-aged divorced film director-cum-college lecturer Kim (Jo Seon-muk, 조선묵 / 趙瑄默).
Hot or not? Or maybe she's right, the dress doesn't suit her at all, she's too "big" for it. Anyway, what do you think?. Let's look at some of the comments by the Netizens:
lilaznvannie: definately a slut.... trying to defend herself that she was just only wearing such a plunging neckline was becuz she wanted to make a great first impression... but now this... i really have nothing else to say about this woman.
Rei90: maybe she chose to wear these herself to degrade herself...stupid...can't always blame the stylists for it...i don even noe who is she....attention seeker...
LyStyle: At first I thought that it is the clothing that didn't fix her. But now I think she is done for. She is a SLUT
chevelleimnida: You are all crazy because that dress is stunning. Any red carpet and she'd knock out the competition. The top I agree is just weird looking, but I really do love that dress. Kudos to her for having the courage to wear it and to challenge the RIDICULOUSLY hypocritical "conservatism" in Korea.
winniexu29: the hell? did they run out of fabric or something?
LuluRaw: What is wrong with this Lady ?o.O When she wore that orange dress at first she apologized the everybody because most of the people were shocked by her indecent clothes .... YET AGAIN, you can't fool me twice. 1st time I said to myself: " well maybe it was her first red carpet ... " 2nd time: ":O What ? not only she lied but she wore a PJ .. nahhh that's just too much" Make up your mind ... I (personally) wouldn't even bother to post a comment for this matter if she had said after wearing the orange dress, " I really like showing my cleavage :)" Although, lying isn't going to get you somewhere....Disappointment u.u
trueloveway: I distinctly remember reading an interview where she stated hating all the attention her orange dress raised and blamed it on a rookie mistake. Really now?
sOo JjI: what is wrong with her picking out these really awful outfits... its like she has an obsession with trying to show as much of her boobs to the world
Anyway, only the best of Oh In Hye in all possible viewing angles available here for you, all filtered by http://lenglui-asia.blogspot.com.
